Ginsburg Keeps Streak Alive, Will Skip Address Given By GOP President
by Kevin Daley, Daily Caller 02/28/2017
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will not attend President Donald Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress Tuesday evening, continuing her unbroken streak of skipping addresses given by Republican presidents before Congress.
Ginsburg was appointed to the high court by former President Bill Clinton in 1993. She did not sit for former President George W. Bush’s State of the Union addresses, though she resumed attendance during the Obama years, where she typically greeted the president with a hug.

By Bill Osmulski - MacIver News Service | February 28, 2017
[Madison, Wisc...] In the school library at O'Keeffe Middle School in Madison, Wisconsin, an eighth-grader is presenting her homework assignment to the class ...
.... MacIver News Service began investigating this classroom activity after receiving a tip from a Madison resident concerned that the material was inappropriate for children in 8th grade. Students in 8th grade are typically around 13 years old.
MNS first downloaded and examined classroom videos Ms. Swetz had posted on YouTube. Then on Tuesday, February 21st MNS contacted Ms. Swetz, her principal Tony Dugas, and MMSD Superintendent Jennifer Cheatham. Cheatham and Swetz both acknowledged receipt of the email, but never responded to MNS' questions. Ms. Swetz then turned her videos to private on YouTube.

The Leakers Who Exposed Gen. Flynn’s Lie Committed Serious — and Wholly Justified — Felonies
Glenn Greenwald, The Intercept.com
February 14, 2017
President Trump’s national security adviser, Gen. Michael Flynn, was forced to resign on Monday night as a result of getting caught lying about whether he discussed sanctions in a December telephone call with a Russian diplomat. The only reason the public learned about Flynn’s lie is because someone inside the U.S. government violated the criminal law by leaking the contents of Flynn’s intercepted communications.
In the spectrum of crimes involving the leaking of classified information, publicly revealing the contents of SIGINT — signals intelligence — is one of the most serious felonies. Journalists (and all other nongovernmental citizens) can be prosecuted under federal law for disclosing classified information only under the narrowest circumstances; reflecting how serious SIGINT is considered to be, one of those circumstances includes leaking the contents of intercepted communications, as defined this way by 18 § 798 of the U.S. Code:
Whoever knowingly and willfully communicates … or otherwise makes available to an unauthorized person, or publishes … any classified information … obtained by the processes of communication intelligence from the communications of any foreign government … shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.
That Flynn lied about what he said to Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak was first revealed by Washington Post columnist David Ignatius, who has built his career on repeating what his CIA sources tell him. In his January 12 column, Ignatius wrote: “According to a senior U.S. government official, Flynn phoned Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak several times on Dec. 29, the day the Obama administration announced the expulsion of 35 Russian officials as well as other measures in retaliation for the hacking.”
That “senior U.S. government official” committed a serious felony by leaking to Ignatius the communication activities of Flynn. Similar and even more extreme crimes were committed by what the Washington Post called “nine current and former officials, who were in senior positions at multiple agencies at the time of the calls,” who told the paper for its February 9 article that “Flynn privately discussed U.S. sanctions against Russia with that country’s ambassador to the United States during the month before President Trump took office, contrary to public assertions by Trump officials.” The New York Times, also citing anonymous U.S. officials, provided even more details about the contents of Flynn’s telephone calls.

Rush Limbaugh appeared on Fox News this weekend to defend President Trump and explain what’s happening in the war between the Trump administration and the mainstream media/deep state alliance.
Host Chris Wallace opened the interview with a question regarding Limbaugh’s assertion that the establishment, comprised of the “left-wing courts,” “left-wing media” and “left-wing bureaucracy,” are working in concert to “sabotage” Trump and thwart his attempts to wrest control of the nation from the death grip of the globalist elites.
“It’s driven by two things,” began Limbaugh. “The first thing that’s going on, Chris, in my view – it is preposterous to believe that the Russians had any effect on the outcome of voting in this country. It is absurd; there is no evidence – zilch, zero, nada. The New York Times has run two stories that are basically propaganda on this… and both stories clearly say ‘no evidence.’ Nobody they’ve talked to has any evidence whatsoever to suggest it.”

Protecting Americans from Identity Theft
by Wisconsin Rep. Glenn Grothman's Congressional Update Feb. 14 2017
Social Security numbers are more important now than ever before. We use them to apply to college, get a credit card and open bank accounts. Unfortunately, as we use our Social Security numbers more and more, identity theft becomes increasingly common. Today, I spoke in an Oversight and Government Reform Committee business meeting about Rep. Valadao’s (R-Calif.) Social Security Fraud Prevention Act that prohibits agencies from including Social Security numbers on documents sent by mail. The Internal Revenue Service sometimes sends Social Security information on postcards and in see-through envelopes. This makes it easy for identity theft to occur. Given the lasting and devastating impact identity theft can have on American families and seniors, it’s incredibly important that we don’t allow such sensitive information to fall into the hands of the wrong people. Rep. Valadao’s bill is an important first step in reaching the bipartisan goal of making sure our government does a better job of protecting Americans’ sensitive information.
