"A Journey from Honor Flight to Children's Book Author and Pediatric Cancer Advocate"
Joe Dean retired from IBM after 28 years and quickly joined the US Senate as a Senior Advisor to Senator Ron Johnson. Dean has been a Mayor and County Board Supervisor and has received numerous awards for his public service. Joe left the Senate after three years to pursue his advocacy for childhood cancer. He is the Founder of Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, the Author of the book, My Dog Named Hope and he serves on several Boards dedicated to helping veterans and to helping kids and families in the pediatric cancer community. We asked Joe to join us tonight to discuss his Journey from Honor Flight to Childhood Cancer advocate and Author.
