    *  In-person absentee voting and the statewide disparity
         in the amount of time to vote at your local clerk's office
    *  Same-day registration and opportunities for fraud
    *  Where should college students vote - at school or resident state
    *  What to do if voter fraud is detected and how to report it

State Senator Kathy Bernier is a lifelong Chippewa Valley resident. She put herself through college later in life as the working mother of three children and has been devoted to public service ever since. Kathy has served as both county clerk and a village trustee. In 2010 she ran for and won the highly competitive 68th Assembly District by 92 votes. She has increased her margin in every election since, and in 2018 was elected to serve as State Senator for the 23rd District.

Vice-chair of the Local Government, Small Business, Tourism and Workforce Committees
Member of the Education and the Agriculture, Revenue and Financial Institutions Committees

Served on the board of directors for the National Foundation for Women Legislators,
Member of Wisconsin Women in Government among many other public service organizations.
